What Blip is for
Blip helps you save video to your Mac in an editor-ready format. It’s built for content creators working with material they have the right to use — for example:
- Videos you uploaded or own.
- Content you have permission from the rights holder to download.
- Content where the platform or the law permits downloading for your use.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for what you download and how you use it. By using Blip, you agree to:
- Respect copyright and the rights of others.
- Follow the terms of service of the platforms you download from.
- Comply with the laws that apply to you in your country and region.
Copyright and downloading rules differ by jurisdiction. If you’re unsure whether you’re allowed to download a particular video, don’t — or get permission first.
What you may not do
- Use Blip to infringe copyright or any other rights.
- Redistribute, sell, or publicly share content you don’t have the right to.
- Resell, share, or publish your license key, or attempt to defeat the trial limits or license checks.
- Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the Blip app itself.
Enforcement
We may suspend or revoke a license used in violation of this policy or our Terms of Service. Blip itself keeps no record of what you download — but this policy still governs your use of the app.
