How do I download a YouTube video on my Mac?
Paste the video link into Blip and click download. That’s the whole flow — two clicks, and the MP4 lands ready for QuickTime, Final Cut, or Premiere.
How do I download a TikTok without the watermark?
Paste the TikTok link into Blip and click download. The saved video comes without the platform watermark — clean, full-quality, in the original 9:16 vertical, ready to edit.
What quality can I download?
Up to 4K on YouTube. When a platform serves a format QuickTime can’t play, Blip automatically re-encodes to clean H.264/AAC, so the file just works.
Will the files open in Final Cut or Premiere?
Yes. Every download is a QuickTime-friendly MP4 — drag it onto your timeline in Final Cut, Premiere, or CapCut with no conversion step.
Does Blip keep chapters and multi-language audio?
Yes. YouTube chapter markers carry over to the MP4, and when a video has multiple audio tracks you pick the one you want — the original or a dub.
Is there a subscription?
No. Blip is $14.99 once and you own it. There’s nothing recurring, nothing to cancel.
What do updates cost?
Nothing. Every Blip 1.x update is free — new platforms, new features, and same-day fixes. (A future major version would be a separate, discounted upgrade for existing customers.)
Can I use Blip on more than one Mac?
Yes. One license covers 3 Macs, and you can move it between machines whenever you need to.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If Blip isn’t for you, email us within 14 days of buying for a full refund — no questions asked. See the refund policy for details.
What currency is the price in, and what about tax?
Prices are in US dollars. Our payment provider, Paddle, is the merchant of record: it converts to your local currency at checkout, shows EU prices tax-inclusive, and adds US sales tax where states require it. Your receipt comes from Paddle.
What happens when YouTube or TikTok changes something?
We ship a fix — usually the same day, as a quick app update — so you’re never stuck waiting.
I lost my license. How do I get it back?
Email us from the address you bought with and we’ll resend your key. See Recover a license for the steps.
